For over 20 years, I've been teaching parents of babies and toddlers how to raise confident, cooperative children. I'm Deborah Carlisle Solomon, author of "Baby Knows Best" and former Executive Director of RIE, one of the top early childhood education organizations for parents and childcare professionals worldwide.
I've worked with thousands of parents, online and in-person on four continents.

"We used to struggle with what to do when our son had a meltdown, but after studying with Deborah, we can now confidently respond to help our son calm and cooperate, during meltdowns or whenever he's struggling. Deborah gives easy-to-understand, practical tools to use in all sorts of situations. We feel so blessed."

"The videos were so impactful and my parenting life is SO MUCH easier now! I know how to prevent a lot of my son's meltdowns and if he ignores or resists a limit or rule, I know how to respond calmly. I'm not a perfect parent, but I'm a much happier parent. I don't feel so stressed anymore and feel a lot more joy and confidence. Thank you!"

"I took the Peaceful Toddler™ course because my child was biting, and I didn’t know what to do to make her stop. The Peaceful Toddler course helped me to understand why she was biting, what I could do to prevent it, and what to do when it happened. I now have tools and know how to respond."
— Rebecca L-O., Maine

Peaceful Toddler™ fits into your real life.
The lessons are short, the practice happens in moments you're already sharing with your child, and you can work through the entire course in under three hours.

You’ll learn how you respond to your toddler’s crying and upset affects how long it lasts and whether there’s residual upset that comes out later in the form of irritability, a stomachache or uncooperative behavior. What I teach you removes a lot of pressure that parents often feel when their child gets upset. When you feel less pressure about your child’s crying and upset, when you let go of “I have to fix this,” you’ll be more effective in helping your child to calm and feel better.

It takes practice for toddlers to be able to shift gears, so they can move smoothly from one activity to the next; whether it’s shifting from having fun at the playground to going home, from playtime to mealtime or something else. In this video, I’ll teach you how to make these transitions easier.

Toddlers don't need to be trained to use the toilet. When they're ready, they learn easily. When you understand the signs of physical and emotional readiness, you'll know what to look for and when to begin the process, so you can put away diapers during the day, at nap time and overnight too. In this guide, you'll discover how to plan ahead for success, what readiness signs to look for and how to support your toddler to learn.

This guide will help you know what questions to ask and what to look for—in the physical environment of the childcare center and in the adult-child interactions. When you know how to do your research, you will be able to make the best decision for your child and for your family, so you can feel confident—in the center and in the caregivers.

I’ll teach you how to take a fresh look at your toddler’s play space and toys, to ensure that both are working for you rather than contributing to conflicts and chaotic behavior. You’ll get a training video, along with a Childproofing Resource List, Toy Inventory Assessment and Toy Resource List, with lots of ideas for simple and inexpensive toddler toys.

Most parents who come to this course have tried other approaches. The difference here isn't effort. It's the framework.
I designed the Peaceful Toddler Program to teach you what you need to know in as succinct a way as possible, so you don't have to wade through hours of videos and written content. Each module has several videos, no longer than 15 minutes each, and it takes no more than one hour to watch all the videos in each module. That means no more than 3 hours in total to watch all the videos in the Peaceful Toddler Program. You can watch and learn when you have time. The practice happens when you're with your toddler anyway.
The course learning platform is easy to navigate and we're always an email away if you have any difficulties.
Studying with Deborah transformed my relation-ship with my child. It's amazing how I feel more confident, more peaceful and more hopeful. I got a real paradigm shift, a real mindset shift, a real change of vision of what respectful parenting could be. I know what it sounds like, what it feels like, what it looks like and I have a clearer understanding and vision of what it can be. I truly owe it to Deborah to parent in this way.
